What must be the age of Tintin? First, if we check out all the comics, you find Tintin as young but sometimes he acts as he is of 20 years old. Tintin looks young especially with that tuft of hair and button like eyes. But he has such strength that he can fight animals like Tiger. Remember in Cigars of the Pharaoh, he fights a tiger. So, I think that all the comics of Tintin i.e. the adventures Tintin faced ended in a year. But that's not possible, is it? I have the proof. Remember, in The Castafiore Emerald, Calculus gets the idea of inventing a color Television and Captian says that somebody has already built the Color Television. And soon in the comic Tintin and the Picaros, Captian Haddock sees the news in a color television. Herge used to create things that are changing but he never showed the characters as old. Ain't it confusing?
Herge's habit of moving with the time has made his comics real entertainment. Even he used to replace old cars with the new high speed cars. His ideas were far more modern than the time he used to work. He even showed an U.F.O. in his comic Flight 714. What could have been the inspiration of Herge to go so far in time?: That's another mystery.
It's the character's age that is different from the most. You cannot configure what age Tintin must be of!
